When we sin... willingly sin... and then come to the realization that we are sorry, we can ask God for His Forgiveness and He will freely give it to us. When the sin of abortion is involved... the lost of innocent life.... God's Forgiveness sometimes does not seem like enough. Because it does not bring back the child lost.

One way we can help ourselves to forgive ourselves is to accept God's loving gift of His sacrifice on the Cross and then to make a new and a positive relationship with the memory of the little one aborted. We can let the child know of our love and our concern and our hope to see them in Heaven. For surely we will see them. And we can dedicate some acts of kindness and charity in loving memory of the child we lost through abortion. Tell the child that we are doing this and that we look forward to sharing many long conversations in Heaven about these things.

Praying does change things. Pray for God's healing graces to come and they will. Learn to accept His love and realize that by continuing to not fully accept His Forgiveness in some small way you are hurting Him. He did die for all of our sins and we should be grateful ... not say "Oh, I know but...."

Just think if you forgave someone something they did and all they did was keep bringing it up again and again. Wouldn't you think that person was stuck in an emotional rut and wouldn't you wish they would change. Well, maybe... just maybe... Jesus feels that way too. Holy Scriptures say:

"The Lord's compassion's never fail.
They are new every morning." Lam. 3:28

Accept God's Grace and know that you are loved.
