Purpose:

The purpose of the position of the Assistant Housemother is to compliment and work in close conjunction with the Several Sources Housemother in order to provide a loving Christian environment in which the young mothers can raise their babies.

Requirements:

Several Sources Foundation is seeking a minimum of one (1) year as Assistant Housemother. The candidate must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities:

• Share in the day-to-day responsibilities of operating the shelters as directed by the Housemother.

• Assist in daily prayer and weekly Bible study.

• As a good Christian Role Model, help the young mothers to understand that Chastity and trying to live by God's laws can lead to a more peaceful and fulfilling life for them.

• Assist in transportation of the mothers and babies.

• Help in daily living skills such as teaching good nutritional meal planning.

• Act as a substitute Housemother in order to provide the Housemother with her days off and vacation time.

• Assist on the Several Sources Hotline for Pregnant Women.

• Assist the Office Manager with the mail run and general office duties.

• Attend church speaking engagements.
  

• $2,000 per year towards HMO of your choice

• 3 weeks vacation

• $1,000 annual clothing allowance

• Use of car and insurance for car

• 2 days off per week
